According the the folks at Yoder’s Guest House in Meyersdale some Somerset County Panjandrums recently opened a new stretch of the 9-11 Memorial Trail from Garrett to the 9-11 crash site near Shanksville.

| Current end of the new section of bike trail. So roughly 1250 feet have been added. It is still over eight miles to Berlin and then another 12.5 miles to the Crash Site. Baby steps! |
